Massimo (the owner) is extremely gracious and helpful. He had gifted us a few 'starter' items like olive oil, some fruit and wine. He was able to provide excellent dining recommendations on the evenings when we felt like going out (both casual dining and fine dining) and he is around to answer other questions you may have. If your trip to Tuscany is specifically to visit several of the wineries of the Chianti Classico region, this villa may be a little too far away (30 - 45 minutes by car from most of them). He was able to provide excellent dining recommendations on the evenings when we felt like going out (both casual dining and fine dining) and he is around to answer other questions you may have. If your trip to Tuscany is specifically to visit several of the wineries of the Chianti Classico region, this villa may be a little too far away (30 - 45 minutes by car from most of them).
