Villa with private private outdoor Jacuzzi in the town of Montalcino, just opposite the famous fortress dating back to the year 1300, in the heart of Orcia Valley.
The property is located just a few steps away from the traditional shops of the village, known all over the world for its excellent “Brunello" wine.
The owner of this villa for rent in Montalcino runs a nearby wine-bar (breakfast, lunch or dinner or wine tastings at discounted rates). The lovers of the fantastic Tuscan wines will also have the chance to book private wine tasting lessons (with local sommeliers) within the next door fortress (the fortress houses the largest selection of Brunello di Montalcino of the whole region).
This villa has been carefully restored and furnished, perfectly mixing traditional details with modern elements of contemporary art. Additionally the villa, despite being located within a village, is provided with a private parking, a garden, a private outdoor Jacuzzi and a large furnished terrace ideal for al-fresco dining while enjoying the panoramic views.
The property is equipped with wi-fi internet connection (free of charge) and with electrical bicycles perfect for exploring the surrounding areas.
Villa Piazza della Fortezza is provided with a pleasant, private outdoor Jacuzzi (4 persons; 2,1 x 2,1 meters), ideal for a refreshing dip during the summer months.

This is a very special villa in a perfect location in Montalcino. The perfect location and the views from every window is simply stunning. I could not recommend this villa more. And all the staff and access to the restaurant made it even better.

Ein gemütliches Haus. Eingerichtet mit allem was einen Aufenthalt angenehm macht. Ein eigener Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Herliche Aussicht in die Ferne und ins Grüne vom höchsten Punkt von Montalcino direkt neben der Festung. Nette Gastgeber die direkt vis a vis ein Hotel und eines der besten Retaurants im Ort führen. Nicht billig aber in Summe jeden Cent wert.

Beautiful view into the distance and into the greenery from the highest point of Montalcino right next to the fortress. The Villa is a perfect place for 6 people. It's convenient to all of Montalcino, especially the Fortezza and the Franci restaurant. It's well equipped and maintained. The staff are very helpful and extremely pleasant to interact with. The villa has on site parking for two (smallish) cars. My family has stayed twice in two years and will return.

This villa was magnificent. Everything we could have hoped for and more? Views were extraordinary and a perfect location to experience Montalcino. The hosts were great as well - accessible, helpful and friendly. We loved it!

The Villa was amazing. Quiet and serene, even though near the Fortezza. A true Tuscan experience with ample room for the 6 adults, all with separate bedrooms and connecting bathrooms. Have stayed in multiple villas throughout Italy. This is definitely one of our favorites and we will gladly return again.

We honestly never expected such an incredible experience. The villa is beautiful and perfectly located. The views were spectacular form both terraces and every window. The owners were absolutely delightful and welcoming in every way. They own a fabulous wine/ restaurant right across the street …it came in very handy! The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Ricardo the sommelier and Elenora, plus the wait staff were wonderful. They organized all our wine tastings, recommended restaurants, nearby towns to see and made all the reservations. What in incredible experience. We loved Montalcino and would go back in a heart beat

The Villa is a beautiful property, ideally located on the Piazza Della Fortezza. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Exterior spaces are inviting and provide great venues for conversation, food, and wine. The owners and overseers are very friendly, generous, and helpful. All in all, it was one of our best vacations sites ever.

Beautiful house, nicely decorated, lovely owners across the street, who also have an excellent wine shop and restaurant. Essentials for breakfast and coffee, tea provided, so no worries if you arrive late at night. Perfect location if you like living in the heart of the city.
