The property was so much nicer then we expected, the pictures didnt do it justice. The property owners couldnt have been nicer.
Home made pasta available monday, wednesday and friday and it was fantastic, fabulous value for money. Fresh eggs also available.
I would highly recommend this property. If your after a peaceful, restful, picture perfect location then this is the property for you.

Hidden away at the end of a dirt road in the foot hills of the province of Piacenza lies this absolutely beautiful house, which can only be described as a paradise. It sports a football field, pool, trampoline, grill, outdoor tables and lounges, peach, apple, and fig trees, and blackberries to be picked. The house itself is every much as beautiful as the pictures suggest, with comfortable beds, great showers, a full kitchen, and ample space for eating and lounging.

There are few weak points, the main 2 being the access road, which should be paved, and the bees (the neighbors make honey) which were a bit of a nuisance around the pool. Other than that, it is hard to find room for improvement.

Even the provinces of Piacenza and Parma were a welcome surprise for us: beautiful towns, delicious food, and truly polite people.

Highly recommended.

La Cenerara is a place of peace and tranquility. Excellent potion for touring the region. Beautiful gardens surround the house with lots of areas to sit, relax and soak up the atmosphere.

Rudolf/Lisbon - The apartment is simple but nice and clean. The neighbourhood is not very exciting: a lot of apartments very close to each other on a sloppy street with few parking places. In the website there are only a few generic pictures of apartments so we did not get this idea when we booked. The process worked ok, but there were some people in the line so we had to wait for a while.

Stayed at Porto Antico in June - July 2010. Access to the appartment is very easy from Venice by the rented car. In general property and area itself is brand new, especially swimming pool! But appartment could be equipped little bit better. Positive points - easy to get to the beach (Lignano Rivera located in 4-5 km), clean beaches and sea, excelent reastraunt near the appartment. Negative points - when you switch air conditioning and water heating for example, electricity desapearing - to fix it, you need to call or go to agency and ask them to fix it. In average it tooks around 4 hours to fix it. Also there are a lot of mosqitos!

I would like to recommend this place for families with kids!
