Fonte Vinaglia is a beautiful stone farmhouse in a panoramic and peaceful position on the hills around the town of Castiglion Fiorentino, an ancient town of Romanesque origin and an important medieval village dominated by the imposing Cassero tower. Today it is a lively and busy town with shops, services and typical restaurants for your dinners out. The town's restaurants are famous for their Chianina beef and Fiorentina steak.
From here you can easily and quickly reach the most important centres of Tuscany and Umbria, which is only a few kilometres away.
The villa has been recently renovated and Manuela, the owner, has chosen for her house a very high standard of furniture, elegant and comfortable, with local antiques. The details have been carefully chosen, from the colours in the bedrooms, to the curtains, paintings and ornaments. A huge fireplace stands out in the living room, adorned with copper pots and pans, it was once the hub of the farmhouse, where the whole family would gather in the warmth at the end of the day. The feeling you get from all this makes Fonte Vinaglia an extremely cosy house, where you will immediately feel at home.
The villa is definitely your ideal destination if you want to spend a peaceful and restful holiday.
All around Fonte Vinaglia you will find woods and olive groves. The garden of the villa is a paradise, well-kept with green lawns, shady plants and flowers, it will be your refuge in the heat of summer days. It is equipped with two gazebo, hammock, table tennis and barbecue and is completely fenced. Bonus of the villa is the private swimming pool (size 5x12 m, depth 1.20-1.40 m) built on a natural terrace that offers an incomparable view of Castiglion Fiorentino and the Val di Chio, and the wooden gazebo, furnished with wrought iron furniture, cushions and vases of flowers that will be the perfect place to enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. For children there is a playground with a slide and swings.
A tip: don't miss the typical Tuscan dinners that the owner can prepare for you on request.

The best place ever!
Thes spot, a house in the top of a hill, a dreamer landscape. The house superb and nicely decorated, it seems a house to live forever. But the best are Manuela and Roberto, the owners. They are not only kind, they are very warm and lovely persons. The pictures of the house and rooms are really worst than reality. A beautiful Tuscan Villa in a stunning setting. Manuela and Roberto were wonderful hosts going above and beyond to make our vacation perfect. The house and grounds (in an active olive orchard) are immaculately kept and very well provisioned. We loved the location - within an hour of Siena, San Gimignano, Montalcino, Montepulciano and most of the sites in Southern & Eastern Tuscany and close to the train station for the journey to Florence (1 hour 20 min train ride). We'll be back!

Very nice house with a buetiful view to the valley. Well equipped with bikes available for a ride and also nice grilling facilities. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

We loved our villa home! This was our second stay at Fonte Vinaglia. The property is so well taken care of and very very clean. The owners are a beautiful family and we will always cherish our friendship with them and their children. The location of Fonte Vinaglia is perfect.It is a beautiful view, peaceful, and close to heaven. Within an hour or so drive, one can visit many different "hilltop" towns that are truly "Italy". The train station located just a 10 minute drive from the villa allowed us to travel to Florence numerous times as well as other larger towns when we didn't want to drive. We simply loved our trip and our hosts!

Our month stay at Fonte Vinaglia was PERFECT! The villa as well as the grounds are more beautiful than the web presented. The villa is spotless, and the grounds are too! Our host and hostess were lovely and we enjoyed becoming friends! We will return!
