The farmhouse is situated on terraces covered with olive trees surrounded by cool oak woods covering the high Pratomagno massif, which at 1592 m above sea level dominates the green Casentino valley, the lush Arno valley and the charming Chianti hills. The area around the house is a dream if you love walking. During your explorations you will be able to meet roe deer, fallow deer and all the other animals of the forest, to the delight of children. Casavecchia is an old stone farmhouse divided into three large, well-furnished and well-equipped apartments. Each apartment has a private area with a gazebo furnished with table and benches for your evenings “al fresco”, where you can enjoy a good dinner or lose yourself in conversation in the cool of the summer nights. At your disposal also a barbecue, a wood-burning oven, children's games, a fully equipped laundry room and the panoramic swimming pool (size 5x10 m, depth 1.20 m - open from 01st May to 30th September) completely fenced and built on a natural terrace overlooking the Arno valley. A few kilometres away is the village of San Giustino Valdarno where you can find shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Casavecchia is halfway between the cities of Arezzo and Florence, both of which can be reached in just over 40 minutes by car. From here you can easily set off on day trips to discover the famous Tuscan art cities. Plus VRBO does not give you the exact address of the farmhouse so ask for it in advance.
