Ca' di Maestro is composed of 5 apartments obtained from the careful renovation of an old stone farmhouse; it will be the ideal place for your holidays, in complete relaxation, in an environment full of charm and ancient peasant traditions. Each apartment faithfully respects the original construction characteristics; the furniture and all the objects that decorate the house have been carefully chosen by the owners and are perfectly coordinated. They will take you back to a time in the past, when the pace of life was slower and less hectic.
In a few minutes' drive you will be able to reach the beautiful Cortona, a medieval town, rich in Etruscan memories and works of art of inestimable value and incomparable beauty; here you can spend your summer days strolling or dining on 'Rugapiana'. Just a few kilometres away you will also find Lake Trasimeno, the largest lake in peninsular Italy, with its beautiful beaches, islands and many small historic hill towns magically set in a still intact and uncontaminated natural environment that constitutes the Trasimeno Natural Park.
In Cortona or Camucia you will find all kinds of services, shops, restaurants and supermarkets for your daily shopping, but for basic necessities, there is a restaurant in Montanare, just a few steps away.
In the large green space in front of the house, shaded by the presence of luxuriant, silver-coloured, centuries-old olive trees, you will have a barbecue and garden furniture at your disposal, spaces optimised for your open-air dinners, as well as a beautiful swimming pool measuring 6x12 metres (depth 1 m - 2.50 m - open from 17 May to 27 September) that will be a safe refuge for you and your children during the summer heat.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt auf dem sehr gepflegten Anwesen mit tollem Pool. Ein wunderbar ruhiger Garten in dem jedes Appartment seinen eigenen privaten Bereich hatte.
Der Vermieter war sehr herzlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit und stand jederzeit für Rückfragen zur Verfügung. Trotz der ruhigen Lage war das idyllische Cortona mit dem Auto innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu erreichen.
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

The landlord was very welcoming, attentive, and helpful, and was always available to answer any questions. Despite the quiet location, the idyllic town of Cortona was a 10-minute drive away.

Diese Anlage ist eine grüne Oase, die von den freundlichen und aufmerksamen Gastgebern liebevoll gepflegt wird. Der ideale Ort zum Ausspannen und als Ausgangspunkt zum Erkunden der südlichen Toscana und des nahen Umbrien.
Die Ferienwohnungen befinden sich in alten landschaftstypischen Gebäuden. So bot unsere Ferienwohnung in der sommerlichen Wärme eine angenehme Kühle. In den Räumen ist noch viel der ursprünglichen Bauweise erhalten geblieben.
Es hat uns sehr gefallen.

This property is a green oasis lovingly tended by the friendly and attentive hosts. The ideal place to relax and as a starting point for exploring southern Tuscany and nearby Umbria.
The holiday units are located in old buildings typical of the landscape. Thus, our holiday flat offered a pleasant coolness in the summer heat. Much of the original construction has been preserved in the rooms.

The outdoor area and the pool look beautiful and maintained, and the owner is super friendly, beautiful plants, vegetable garden, table tennis table, etc.
The cottage itself was a bit disappointing for us, it is very dark and the lighting was not quite optimal (there were several lamps broken, including the light from the hood), insect screens were broken or missing and they are really necessary, there are very lots of mosquitoes.
Certainly a plus that it is on the ground floor with a beautiful private garden, a disadvantage is that there is a lot of trouble from the upper floor, especially the sliding of chairs makes a lot of noise. (felt pads under the chair legs might be an idea)

A very pleasant stay at Il Mappamondo ! The flat is large and well-furnished, and the rest of the property is full of trees and plants and flowers, away for the main road, so very silent, and the big swimming-pool is a pleasure. Moreover, the owner is a very agreeable person. I do recommend staying at this place which is very convenient to visit the Southern Tuscany / Northern Umbria area.

Unsere Familie, die aus sechs Personen besteht, war sehr zufrieden mit diesem Ferienhaus. Die Kinder sind fast jeden Tag im großen Pool gewesen und waren sehr begeistert vom mit sehr viel Mühe und Liebe gestalteten Garten. Sie konnten nicht nur schwimmen, sondern auch Schildkröten und Hühner streicheln sowie in der Hängematte liegen oder schaukeln.
Ausserdem war unser Gastgeber stets freundlich und bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen.
Gerne hätten wir uns mit ihm unterhalten wollen, aber leider können wir kein Italienisch, dennoch waren unsere Begegnungen stets angenehm.¿Recomendaría esta propiedad a un amigo? Sí
