The villa furnished with taste and refinement, equipped of splendid terraces seen sea, assures thanks to the presence of all the most modern comforts tranquilities and discretion. Its position of easy access and proximity it allows in little time to visit the whole most beautiful places of the Amalfi coast.Villa Civita is caught up directly and comfortably with the car; for "Civita1" there are not steps to make, while for "Civita 2" only 10 steps. Each apartment, is composed of a Kitchen fully equipped,(toaster, boiler, dishwasher, washing machine, machine cafè, fridge, freezer, etc.) a large living room, two double bedrooms, a bathroom with bath tub, a big terrace view on the sea, equipped with chairs, table, sunbeds, a parasol. DISTANCES: Just 7 minutes on foot, there is a coffe bar which is also a grocery. About 500 meters from the beach of Castiglione of Ravello, reached through a staircase in a 10 minutes walk; 50 meters from Bus stop; 800 meters from Atrani; 1,5 Km from Amalfi; 3 Km from center of Ravello; 15 Km from Positano; 20 Km from Sorrento; 27 Km from Pompei; 45 Km from Napoli. There were only two issues that did not meet our expectations: The villa is not located at walking distance from any town or area where we could buy food or go to restaurants. The only negatives for this villa was the access to either the town of amalfi or the town of ravello, required either driving and paying to park, or doing some pretty intense walking up/down steps and very busy coastal road. Also, the villa itself was very nice but no shower (only bath with hand held shower sprayer (my wife and I joked about it being the one-armed shower sprayer). Littleton (United States) Villa Civita Apartment 2 5 /5 Excelente Detalles de la Valoración We travelled around Italy for two and a half months this year and Villa Civita 2 was without doubt our favourite apartment anywhere. Perched halfway down the cliff between Ravello and the coast, it is quite a climb back from the beach and a near impossible (in summer) walk to Ravello but who cares when the view is so spectacular? And the bus does stop almost outside the door. The apartment has a spacious terracotta-tiled veranda with a view all along the coast and across the bay. We ate out there every evening, watching stars begin to twinkle in the pink-mauve sky. When we managed to drag ourselves inside, we found that the bedrooms were big and comfortable, the decor was bright and chic, and the amenities were terrific. There was a toaster and an espresso machine, as well as a great oven, stovetop and dishwasher in the kitchen. And Claudia, our thoughtful tri-lingual host, left us a basket of guidebooks and leaflets with information on everything from restaurant recommendations to ferry timetables.
