From the moment we arrived at Borgo Tollena we felt welcome. Our villa exceeded our expectations. The location was great...45 minute walk into town, central for where we wanted to go to in Tuscany. Easy Reserve gave us a voucher for a wine tour which was really great and right next to our villa.
I would certainly recommend Borgo Tollena and one day I hope to return. Thank you to Barbara for looking after efficiently things that cropped up.
The villa was perfect for exploring the region. It was a short drive to Siena, San Gimignano, Florence, Pisa and many other great towns. Highly recommend a vehicle to enjoy the region.
The pool was a great way to enjoy a midday break.
The owners were fantastic. Gabrielle and Lucia are wonderful people and they take care of their renters with a genuine thoughtfulness.
Nice and quiet place with amazing views. If you want to rest and sleep, this is the place. Our kids were pleased with the pool and being in the middel of the vineyatds. Our only suggestion is to add some missing kitchen appliances such as a microwave and a toaster.

Optimales Haus, um auch in den Genuss des Strandes (Meer) zu kommen. Einzig die Ausstattung der Küche kann bemängelt werden. Ansonsten ist es eine wunderschöne "Bleibe".

We found the property well located, clean and nicely outfitted. A few steps to the beach and wonderful restuarants nearby. The keyholder was extremely helpful, though we had some trouble as we did not speak Italian and she was limited in English. It would be very helpful if there was an English language booklet that outlined a few key things that we would have liked to know early in our stay. This would include directions to the closest grocery, instructions on the the use of the washing machine and similar items. Also, it should be noted that there are a lot of stairs involved in town and in reaching the appartment. We found this delightful, but people with whom we have traveled in the past would not have been able to navigate this property. All in all, we would recommend this property and hope to be able to return some day.
