We were a group of 13 visiting the Cortona area and we stayed at Case Santánna for two weeks. There are pros and cons of every place you may stay so I'm summarizing for those who don't like long reviews:
* The apartments upstairs have issues with plumbing. Bathrooms leak and kitchens don't fully
operate.
* The owner lives on the property site in a house next to the villa.
* The pool and hot tub is kept up nicely by owner every morning
* It is very remote. Don't think about staying here without a car. You won't get a cab, uber or any other car service.
* All of the bedrooms are spacious and clean
* All but one of the main house bathroom showers had great water pressure and plenty of hot water.
* Plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc. in the kitchen
* Internet is spotty. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's a satellite connection.
* The owner was very gracious and didn't seem to mind our late night gatherings outside.
* Highly recommend Tuklu nearby for food although it's only open 2 or 3 nights during the week.
* Grocery stores are about 3km away and easy to get to with car.
* Plenty of parking for cards
* Owner arranged a nice dinner prepared by a local cook. It was great!
* You will be using Google translate to communicate with the owner.
Wir waren zu viert und haben eine perfekte Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. So geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Der Pool wurde regelmäßig gesäubert, die Anlage und das Haus ist bestens gepflegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] There were four of us and we spent a perfect week in this beautiful house. So tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail. The pool was cleaned regularly, the grounds and the house are well maintained. We would love to come back again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa as a party of 6 adults.
The grounds are well maintained and picturesque with pandemic views. Plenty of car parking space. The pool is regularly
maintained by the owners who come by each morning to clean it and was regularly used by us during our stay.
A couple of things to note, the facilities within the villa could be found lacking especially for a larger party, as the villa holds up to 11.
The BBQ to use was great, but be prepared to buy your own fuel.
Tourist tax was payable on arrival which wasn’t clear beforehand.
All in all some great memories were made at the villa and we would definitely return!
Paradiso is een geweldig huis, rust en groenten/kruiden uit eigen tuin zijn hier te vinden, tezamen met kippen en 2 lieve katjes. Al met al een top locatie. Eigen/huur vervoer noodzakelijk.

The photos already showed the beauty of the place, but its very special and peaceful atmosphere can only be experienced by those who spend a few days on the estate. Prachtig gelegen ruim en authentiek huis. Fijne ontvangst en uitstekende verzorging. We hebben er een mooie week gehad en komen zeker nog eens terug.
