Abbiamo soggiornato al Podere San Bono dal 15 al 22 agosto 2026, in due famiglie (4 adulti e 4 bambini di 9-8-8-4).
La casa è composta da due appartamenti che ci siamo divisi. Al piano di sotto ci sono un'ampia cucina con salotto, un bagno, una camera matrimoniale ed una camera con due letti singoli. Al piano di sopra invece una cucina un po' più piccola, un bagno e due camere matrimoniali (una con un piccolo bagno) più una singola. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno accolti i proprietari Franco e Silvana, due signori molto simpatici e disponibili, che ci hanno illustrato tutti i servizi disponibili, dato consigli sui dintorni e venduto il vino da loro prodotto, direttamente dalla vigna (consigliatissimo!). La casa ha qualche dettaglio che andrebbe un pochino rivisto, in particolare sui bagni del piano superiore, i materassi un po' datati e le foto di famiglia presenti un po' ovunque, ma nulla di drammatico. C'è tutto quello che serve, posate ed accessori sufficienti per 8 persone, accessori per ben due barbecue (anche qui, la griglia un po' "vissuta", bidoni per la raccolta differenziata, rubinetto con acqua direttamente dalla fonte, racchette per ping pong e badminton, tubi e palle per la piscina. La piscina è senza dubbio il fiore all'occhiello della proprietà: enorme, senza cloro (acqua leggermente salata), tenuta perfettamente e ben illuminata. Fa indubbiamente la differenza! Il tutto in totale privacy, circondati da panorami mozzafiato e con solo i suoni della natura a farvi compagnia. Ci torneremo sicuramente perché abbiamo passato una settimana da favola.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We stayed at Podere San Bono from August 15th to 22nd, 2026, as two families (4 adults and 4 children aged 9, 8, 8, and 4).
The house consists of two apartments, which we divided between us. Downstairs, there is a spacious kitchen with a living area, a bathroom, a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom. Upstairs, there is a slightly smaller kitchen, a bathroom, two double bedrooms (one with a small en-suite), and a single bedroom. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the owners, Franco and Silvana—very friendly and helpful people—who showed us the amenities, gave us tips on the local area, and sold us wine produced right there in their vineyard (highly recommended!). The house has a few details that could use some updating—specifically the upstairs bathrooms, the somewhat dated mattresses, and family photos displayed almost everywhere—but nothing major. It has everything you need: cutlery and kitchenware for eight people, equipment for two barbecues (though the grill itself was a bit "well-used"), recycling bins, a tap with water straight from the spring, ping-pong and badminton rackets, and pool floats and balls. The pool is undoubtedly the property's highlight: huge, chlorine-free (slightly salty water), perfectly maintained, and well-lit. It really makes a difference! All of this comes with total privacy, surrounded by breathtaking views and accompanied only by the sounds of nature. House was really clean and lots of space for large family group, with a lovely big pool and hot tub to enjoy. The surroundings were really peaceful and quiet and lots to see and do nearby.

Lieu délicieux, plein de charme et de poésie, très bien situé.
Piscine très agréable, literies parfaites et belles chambres.
Salle de séjour très moyenne (assez sombre et pourtant chaude) mais on peut prendre ses repas dehors à condition de descendre une volée de marches.
Quelques détails pourraient améliorer le séjour : pour lutter contre la chaleur, les moustiquaires des fenêtres devraient être amovibles pour laisser passer l'air. Un lave vaisselle serait un gros plus dans les appartements prévus pour 6 à 8 personnes, ainsi que quelques plateaux pour descendre les repas.

Una estancia inolvidable. La casa es maravillosa, muy acogedora, cuidada al detalle y con toda la tranquilidad y el encanto del paisaje toscano. La ubicación es perfecta tanto para desconectar como para recorrer los pueblos de los alrededores. La atención y hospitalidad de los anfitriones fue de diez. Sin duda, un lugar al que deseamos volver. ¡100% recomendable!

Lieu authentique à l’écart de tout pour une réelle pause… les photos ne correspondent pas tout à fait aux lieux mais nous avons passé un très bon séjour à découvrir la région nord de la Sardaigne. Très peu de voisins cependant très accueillant. Pour les personnes qui n’apprécient pas les aboiements de chiens veuillez prendre en compte qu’il y en à plusieurs autour ainsi qu’un âne qui se font entendre nuit et jour. En ce qui nous concerne cela n’a pas été dérangeant.

There are very few neighbors, though they are very welcoming. If you dislike the sound of barking dogs, please note that there are several nearby—along with a donkey—that can be heard day and night. Wunderschöner Aufenthalt – absolute Empfehlung!
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt im Podere Marcigliano und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist groß, sauber, liebevoll und schön eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber: Sie waren unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Als Willkommensgeschenk haben wir sogar eine Flasche Wein und hausgemachtes Olivenöl bekommen – eine wirklich liebevolle Geste, über die wir uns sehr gefreut haben.
Der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt und war immer sauber und einladend. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön und man kann dort richtig abschalten und entspannen. Besonders schön fanden wir den Pavillon im Außenbereich, unter dem wir gemütlich frühstücken, gemeinsam essen und spielen konnten.
Auch für die Kinder war es ein toller Aufenthalt. Sie hatten viel Platz zum Fußballspielen und konnten draußen sogar Eidechsen beobachten – für sie ein kleines Abenteuer.
Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und uns als Familie rundum wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber für diese schöne Zeit!
Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und können das Podere Marcigliano uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! ❤️

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Podere Marcigliano and felt right at home from the very beginning. The house is spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished with great attention to detail, offering everything needed for a relaxing holiday.
We would especially like to highlight the hosts: they were incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. We even received a bottle of wine and homemade olive oil as a welcome gift—a truly thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated.
The pool was cleaned daily and was always spotless and inviting. The entire property is beautiful, making it the perfect place to truly unwind and relax. We particularly loved the outdoor pavilion, where we could enjoy leisurely breakfasts, meals together, and games.
It was a fantastic stay for the children, too. They had plenty of space to play soccer and could even spot lizards outside—a little adventure for them.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and felt completely comfortable and welcome as a family. Many thanks to the hosts for such a lovely time!

The Villa was very clean and mostly as described on the website. During our stay, the Jacuzzi wasn’t working.
The arrival went smoothly and the owner was very flexible when it came to when and how we would get the keys and pay the tourist tax.
During our stay we were very satisfied with the vila.
The only “bigger” issue we had was that in one of the bedrooms and the adjoining bathroom the lights weren’t working. However, the owner was very helpful and solved the problem.
Also, some of the pool loungers were in poor condition.

Posto splendido immerso nella natura, struttura molto curata in perfetto stile toscano. Luca, il padrone di casa, è una persona gentilissima, attenta e molto disponibile. Ottimi anche i prodotti dell’azienda agricola (olio e pasta con grano senatore cappelli). Consigliatissimo per un soggiorno in pieno relax
