La piscina privada mide 8 x 4 metros con una profundidad de 140 cm y está disponible de forma estacional del 15 de mayo al 30 de septiembre. Junto a la piscina se encuentran una ducha y un aseo dedicados, así como mobiliario de jardín adecuado para tomar el sol y el ocio al aire libre. Una barbacoa está disponible en la zona de la piscina para que los huéspedes disfruten de cenas al aire libre.

La piscina está disponible del 15 de junio al 15 de septiembre, con horario de 09:00 a 13:30 y de 15:00 a 21:00. Hay una ducha exterior de uso compartido. Nice property with pool situated near the beautiful medieval hamlet of San Donato in Poggio, half-way between Florence and Siena. This property comprises 2 comfortable apartments all of which recently restored and tastefully furnished. Beautiful vineyards and olive groves surround the estate and produce excellent Chianti Classico wine and olive oil (available for the clients to be tasted and purchased). This property is situated among green hills but at the same time it is very close to the small town of San Donato (walking distance) offering nice restaurants, pizzerias and all main services.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road suitable for any kind of car.
Distances: San Donato in Poggio with all kinds of shops 500 m away, Greve in Chianti 15 km, the charming medieval town of San Gimignano 18 km, Florence 20 km, Siena 35 km away, Pisa (airport) 95 km away, Arezzo approx. 100 km, Cortona 140 km away. Rome is approx. 300 km away.

La Casa nel Borgo is located in the ancient hamlet of Cantalena Alta and is now part of an almost completely restored rural complex consisting of 6 small houses, where efforts have been made to keep alive the ancient traditions and times gone by, using stone in the restoration along with original reclaimed materials.
A road that climbs through green woods and breathtaking views will lead you to La Casa nel Borgo. The first time it may seem a little challenging, but as soon as you arrive at your destination you will be rewarded with absolute peace, stunning views, unspoilt spaces and unforgettable sunsets. The place is your paradise if you are a nature lover, surrounded by cool green forests and inhabited by local wildlife. It is not difficult, on summer evenings, to come across friendly hares, porcupines, roe deer or fallow deer.
The small hamlet has a beautiful panoramic swimming pool (10x5 mt, depth 1.20-1.60 mt - open from 17 May to 27 September) completely fenced and with a Roman steps, which is about 100 metres from your house and in common use with the other guests. In the solarium you will have your own private area with 4 sun beds and a sun umbrella, where you can spend your lazy days by the pool. The house also has a private, shaded area with a table and chairs, where you can enjoy your meals in the peace of the cobbled alley.
The house is equipped with all the necessary comforts, furnished in rustic style, reminiscent of the rural homes of our grandparents, the beamed ceilings (the size of some of the doors are quite small), the terracotta floors, the old marble sink... we can assure you that spending your holiday here will be a real plunge into the past!
The little house, in our opinion, is ideal for couples, even with children; if you wish to get away from it all, it will become your favourite place, you will only be disturbed by birdsong, and in the morning you will wake up to a wonderful view to greet you. At Casa nel Borgo quiet, tranquillity and the slow, lazy flow of the days will be the watchwords of your holiday. The nearest shops are in Castiglion Fiorentino, about 15 km away. And about 9 km away, in the lttle village of Santa Cristina, you will find a small grocery shop and a Tuscan restaurant. A small town of steep, paved alleyways, ancient buildings, stone stairways and arches and mighty walls dominated by the imposing Cassero tower, guarding the valley. Many trattorias and restaurants invite you to go out in the evening and enjoy a dish of fresh, handmade pasta or a famous Florentine steak.
In Castiglion Fiorentino you will also find supermarkets for your daily shopping, other shops and all necessary services. From the house you can easily walk to a restaurant which is just 1 km far.

The owners will be happy to let you taste and buy their pure Sangiovese wine, extra virgin olive oil and other products of the farm, proudly handed down from father to daughter.
The house is surrounded by a large, well-kept garden, shaded and filled with flowers and plants. In the relaxation area, furnished with table and chairs, you can comfortably enjoy your meals in the open air. At the back of the house, in a sunny position, there is a swimming pool measuring 4.5x9m, 1.50m deep and completely fenced ( open from 16 May to 30 September) for the safety of your children.
Another corner that we think you will appreciate is the sun terrace on the first floor, where you will find a small lounge with a sun umbrella, table and chairs, ideal for aperitifs in the cool of summer evenings.

Podere I Gigli is an old stone farmhouse, dating back to the early 1900s, which has recently been renovated and brought back to life while maintaining the structure, which still exudes ancient history and farming traditions. Lake Trasimeno, with its small towns, water sports opportunities and equipped beaches, is waiting to be discovered. In a little more than an hour you can make the complete tour by car, or better still enjoy a boat trip to Isola Maggiore, with its small fishing village, an activity that is also perfect for your children.
The large swimming pool will be at your disposal (size 12x6 m, depth 0.60-2 - open from 01st June to 30 September); occasionally it is also used by the owner who will be, albeit very discreetly, an excellent point of reference in case of need. You will have your own private space for your car within the fully fenced property, where even your small four-legged friends will be welcome.
The house is comfortable, furnished with particular taste by the owner with local antiques, has a large living room with sofas and an antique fireplace, two comfortable double bedrooms and a smaller one perfect for a child.
Certainly, in addition to the proximity to important centres such as Perugia, Arezzo and Siena, which you can visit with convenient day trips, in our opinion the highlight of the villa is the view from the house and its outdoor space. Villa Gioiosa is an old stone house that once belonged to the nearby Benedictine monastery and was used by the monks as a chestnut dryer, of which the surrounding woods are rich. Casa Rossa is a suggestive farmhouse of very remote origins. It stands in a very panoramic and peaceful position, overlooking vineyards and olive groves. It can be reached by following an unpaved road (1,5 km) that winds its way through rows of vineyards, and even before you get there you will feel you have been catapulted into another era. The origins of this house are in fact very old and date back at least to 1500, as documented in the register of souls of the parish of Pieve San Giovanni.
The owners, Leone and Giuseppe, have intentionally maintained its rustic, almost medieval appearance in order to preserve its noble origins. The wooden and brick ceilings, the original terracotta floors and the simple and essential furnishings are a rare example of the rural tradition in Tuscany. The farmhouse is particularly suitable for couples or families who love nature and simplicity and want to get away from modern life for a while.
Pets are welcome (extra charge could be required).
You will find yourself facing an incomparable view on summer evenings, sitting by the pool (size 5 x 9 m, depth 1.20 m, private for guests - open from 16 May to 12 September) or dining in the furnished pergola in front of the house. And if you feel like leaving the quiet of the place for a while, the city of Arezzo is reachable in 15 minutes by car, and throughout the year it offers countless folkloristic and cultural events, including the Giostra del Saracino and the Antique Fair.

Usciano is an ancient village of medieval origin, located a few kilometres from the city of Arezzo. It is located on a panoramic position, perched on a high hill, surrounded by olive groves and green woods of oak and holm-oak. The stone farmhouse and its two small houses date back to 1851, when the small village was inhabited by woodcutters, farmers and chestnut growers, the atmosphere alone will immediately take you back to those times.
The hamlet has been restored preserving its original features and using ancient materials such as terracotta, stone and old wooden beams. Even the furniture, functional and comfortable, has been chosen in respect of rural traditions.
Borgo di Usciano can be reached by an unpaved road through the woods of about 1.5 km, which is well maintained and suitable for all types of cars.
Only 2.5 km away is the village of Palazzo del Pero where you will find a couple of restaurants and some shops.
Only 9 km away is the city of Arezzo and its monuments, shops for shopping enthusiasts, supermarkets, restaurants and all kinds of services. But we also recommend that you spend wonderful days discovering the old town centre, its narrow streets and the works of art by Piero della Francesca, Cimabue and Vasari, scattered throughout the city.
