The reason for a poor review is that the Villa is very difficult to get to if you are driving anything bigger than a Fiat 500. Not only is the road leading to the villa very narrow but is located on a steep curve. Unfortunately, I had an Opel Zafira station wagon and wad not going to risk damaging this rental vehicle. When we did manage to walk to this Villa, it was very worn and in need of some updating. Luckily, we were able to obtain another villa, Maddalena which was must nicer and easier to access by a larger vehicle. I appreciate the help of Alfreddo at the Mass Lubrense office, he was very helpful but I lost the full payment I had on the original villa and had to pay for the new villa. I was hoping to get at least a partial refund but have not received any word on that yet. Overall, the Maddalena villa was a good experience but the original needs to be more descriptive on the accessibility and not just the width of the road to get to it.
