Wir waren mit unserem Sohn und seine Freundin da und jeder hatte sein eigenes Reich. Das fanden wir sehr angenehm. Der Pool war das Highlight des Urlaubs. Das Haus liegt am Ende der Strasse und so hatten wir wirklich unsere Ruhe. Für uns war die Garage auch sehr wichtig, so konnten wir unser Auto (Tesla) gut geschützt parken. Alles war perfekt!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We were there with our son and his girlfriend and everyone had their own space. We found that very pleasant. The pool was the highlight of the holiday. The house is at the end of the street so we really had peace and quiet. The garage was also very important for us, so we could park our car (Tesla) in a safe place. Everything was perfect!
Schön gelegen in den Hügeln. Innen ist die Zeit etwas stehen geblieben... Ausstattung dementsprechend, inkl. Geschirr. Sauber! Wir haben eine schöne Woche am Ortasee verbracht. Preis/Leistung ok
Villa Lamone is a charming old house located close to sympathic small village of Ambra. (20 min walk or 4 min drive). All the rooms are functional and have a lot of character. You surely need a car which gives you the choice to visit the most famous places in Toscana.
Lamone has really nice outside garden with a reasonable size pool.
The house however might need some updating/refressing to be perfect. But with the right attitude it gives you a real country side Toscana experience.
And the owner Mrs Lea was allways ready to help and full of energy.
Ein sehr schönes Haus, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Ausstattung mit Küchenutensilien weist Lücken auf.
Das Grundstück ist sehr gepflegt und schön mit großem Pool. Man muss sich aber im Klaren sein, dass man sehr weit weg von jedem belebten Ort ist. zum Einkaufen muss man schon ziemlich weit fahren.

The property is very well maintained and beautiful with a large pool. But you have to be aware that you are very far away from any busy place. You have to drive quite a long way to go shopping.
Really enjoyed our time at this villa, the owner was very friendly, the place was very clean and in a lovely location.
