Outstanding location combining rural tranquillity with easy access to both beach and many interesting towns and villages. Wonderful views from the extremely spacious patio complemented by beautiful gardens and a great pool. An equally spacious interior, ensuring that even when full of guests one can still find a bit of peace and quiet if required. Staff, Alfonso and Camilla most helpful in assisting with any requests for information or unforeseen needs.Voted by our group of 7 adults and 8 kids (aged 3 months to 13) as one of the best holidays they have ever had!!

Our time at villa fracassini was wonderful. I will definitely return Eduardo and Irene were wonderful and very helpful throughout our stay.

Lovely location and views with ideal pool for a baby as it has shade. Only thing is it's lacking is a comfortable place to sit so we ended up sitting on the downstairs bed. Another reviewer mentioned this in the guest book 3 years ago! The sofa really isn't great and should be replaced straight away.
Also an information sheet would be useful telling you were local shops are etc although with wifi there is a work around.

We had a great time in La Cecchella from the minute we arrived. Rita, Francheska and Marco were very nice and helpful throughout our stay.
Villa is in great condition and the villa and the grounds are very well maintained and its everything what was told to us. villa is very safe and very well located from all the attractions like Lucca, Pisa and florence.¿Recomendaría esta propiedad a un amigo? Sí

The Villa is absolutely beautiful with spectacular views of the city of Peitrasanta below. Some mornings looking out, you are above the clouds. The downside is It is a 20 minute drive to get down the mountain with a lot of hair pin turns on a narrow road, they do have guard rails in some places along the way. They now have enclosed the lower patio with glass/ sliders. I would recommend they put the screens in the sliders. There was a wonderful breeze sitting there with the sliders open but the flys during the day & mosquitoes at night were very annoying. The pool was heavenly to have at the end of the day. The owners were just wonderful, the interior & exterior was beautifully decorated, simple & elegent. You can see they take great pride in sharing their home. I would recommend this home to friends & family

Although the first time driving the road was a bit unnerving for those of us from the States, it was a normal mountain Italian road that was extremely fun to drive. The view from the Villa were breathtaking. We were happy with everything and although it is located in a very remote area, we were no more than a 15 minute drive from a lot of fun things to do.

We enjoyed the apartment very much But it was not as easy to get to Vatican as I had thought. Big place beds were pretty nice. The third bed was a hide a bed and needed replacing. Apartment was not as clean as we expected. Good things lots of restaurants very near. Great gelato across street next door car rental shop great

The villa was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The proximity to Cortona was a bit farther than expected. It's a good 15 minutes drive into town, I was under the impression that it was about a 15 minute walk into town. Other than that, it was a wonderful retreat. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking.

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in der Ferienwohnung Ortensia verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Es ist so gemacht wie man sich den toskanischen Stil vorstellt. Teracottafarbene Fliesen im Bad. Holz an der Decke und Blumenbilder an den Wänden. Die Terrasse und der Garten sind traumhaft und was in der Beschreibung gar nicht erwähnt wird, ist der Ausblick auf San Gimignano. Der ist sensationell. Sonnenuntergang mit Blick auf die Türme. Sooo schön.
Aber wenn man dort Urlaub macht, sollte man eine Schere mitbringen, einen Vorlegelöffel oder sonst was um das Essen aus dem Topf zu kriegen und Kopfkissen :-) Die in der Wohnung vorhandenen waren uns zu hart. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und haben uns ihre Telefonnummer gegeben falls was ist.
San Gimignano ist in einer Viertelstunde über einen Feldweg zu erreichen. Der geht zwar bergauf bergab ist aber auch mit Buggy, Kinderwagen oder ähnlichem befahrbar. Der Supermarkt ist auch ganz nah, da sind wir aber eh immer mit dem Auto hingefahren.¿Recomendaría esta propiedad a un amigo? Sí

Although a bit difficult to find (look for il Melograno), it was lovely. Sabrina, the owner, does not speak English but she is very nice. The place is clean and comfortable. The only suggestion I would make is that they print out an information sheet, like how to get to the supermarket in Poggibonsi, how to use the dishwasher and washing machine, how to contact Sabrina if you have a question... We succeeded through trial and error so everything worked out, but two of us understand Italian. Beautiful property and easy access (by car) to San Gimignano. It's is a bit of a long hike there but we did it because we enjoy walking and running.
