Es es ist ein sehr ruhiger Platz inmitten einer Oliven Landschaft . Genau das haben wir gesucht . Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und spricht Englisch. Wir waren in der Doppelhaus Hälfte untergebracht es wahr alles sehr sauber und nach toskanischem Stiel eingerichtet . Im Schlafzimmer gab es eine Klimaanlage welche für 20 Euro die Woche zu Buchbar war . Es war ein Traum .
Der Swimingpool war stets sauber und nutzbar sowie die liegen und der Pavillion . Auf dem Anwesen gab es 3 Hunde eine Katzen , Kühe , Esel, ponies , Hühner und Schweine die nach nachfragen auch gestreichelt werden dürften .
In dem kleinen Dorf fussläufig zu ereichen Ca 400 m gab es einen super leckerer Pizzeria mit herrlichem Ausblick über die Toskana .
Wir hatten einen wundervolle Woche und werden sicher wieder kommen .

It is a very quiet place amidst an olive landscape. That's what we were looking for. The hostess is very nice and speaks English. We were housed in the semi-detached house, it was all very clean and decorated according to the Tuscan style. In the bedroom there was an air conditioner which was bookable for 20 euros per week. It was a dream.
The swimming pool was always clean and usable as well as the beach chairs and the pavilion. On the property there were 3 dogs, a cat, cows, donkeys, ponies, chickens and pigs which could also be caressed.
In the small village within walking distance (about 400 meters away) there was a very delicious pizzeria with stunning views over Tuscany.
We had a wonderful week and will definitely come back.
We loved our stay! The villa was a perfect Tuscan getaway set in a Medieval town! When we arrived, Irene, the owner, showed us her beautiful villa and had everything there to make us comfortable. The villa has been remodeled to every detail, and we loved the courtyard with swimming pool and grapevines hanging beautifully over the table. Each bedroom had its own bathroom with a nice shower and cool a/c. Irene even set up an amazing winery tour and escorted us there where we had a magical day! We wanted to stay longer and will be back! We also feel as if we made a wonderful friend that we will stay in touch with. All the details were thought of, we would highly recommend!!
We've spent a lovely week at Fubbiano.. We have enjoyed it here visiting the area, sun bathing by the pool and eating good food. A stay that inspired us to come back another time..
Virkelig dejlig ferielejlighed med skøn beliggenhed.
Søde og venlige ejere (søn og mor) - moderen gav kage en dag, og forærede vores datter en tegnefilm - så går man da op I at lejere har det godt !

Eneste minus var udlejers søster/datter der en dag havde inviteret 3 veninder til poolen, hvor de spillede musik I flere timer - lidt ærgeligt når man gerne vil ligge roligt ved poolen.
Men OK - det var vitterligt det eneste negative, så det ER et godt sted !!!!!

Sweet and friendly owners (son and mother) - The mother gave a cake one day, and gave our daughter a cartoon - so you go out that tenants are doing well!
BEAUTIFUL VIEWS FROM THE BEAUTIFUL POOL.
Only minus was the landlord's sister / daughter who had one day invited 3 girlfriends to the pool where they played music for several hours - a little bit offended when you would like to have fun at the pool.
But OK - it was basically the only negative, so it's a good place !!!!!
Helt spektakulärt läge som är ännu bättre i verkligheten, lung och ro. God service av personalen. Fin pool, husen är enkla men stilfullt inredda, mycket trivsamt!
Utrustningssnivån i kök och standard på elinstallation något bristfällig, myrorna var lite hungriga, packa in maten väl!

In July, 2017, my family, Grandchildren, and some friends reserved several rooms at the Castillo de Montegufoni, and what an exceptional and magical vacation we experienced for 7 days. We initially wanted to reserve some apartments somewhere in Italy for a family holiday, when we came upon this website, while searching for a unique Italian vacation. After researching the Castillo de Montegufoni and reading all the reviews, we decided to make our reservations at this castle, which was located approximately 45 minutes west of Florence. We booked our rooms at the Castillo de Montegufoni, but within months of making our reservations, our son and his fiancé decided that they wanted to get married in this castle. We were a bit apprehensive since we thought this location would be a fun vacation venue, but sight unseen, we were concerned about it now possibly becoming a wedding destination. To make a long beautiful story, a bit shorter, this was the most picturesque, magical, and spectacular location we could have ever selected.
The rooms were all uniquely different but perfect, the gardens and grounds were impeccable, the restaurant foods at the castle and in town were amazingly delicious, and the castle staff and service, especially Paula and Stefania, were so remarkably helpful, enjoyably pleasant, and constantly professional, on every single day we were there.
As a summation, and as we stated in the beginning of this review, the Castillo de Montegufoni became an exceptional and magical vacation for our entire family and we witnessed one of the most beautiful weddings ever! Our entire family, including our Grandchildren have vowed to return to this magnificent castle in the very NEAR future!
Very nice house with a perfect view.
But there are a few details to be fixed to make it perfect :
2 of the gas burners didn't work
There wasn't enough plates, decent cookware (we like to cook ourselves)
A tray would be nice when you eat outside
More and better pillows in the livingroom (others have written that earlier - you really should fix that)
There was no manual to the washing machine (and it wasn't logic til figure out!) Had to spend quite a while looking it up on the internet.
The keyholder spoke VERY little English. We called an hour in advance and still we had to call again when we arrived and wait 30 minutes.

It's always best to inform us about things that need reparation or missing items during your stay because we can supply immediately. In case of language barriers it is possible to contact the agent of course.
A thoroughly relaxing holiday in a beautiful part of Val D'Orcia. The property is situated in a very peaceful area with beatiful views. Four apartments give flexibility for a group or large family. The pool is welcome and well kept on a daily basis.
The owner Dino is very friendly and attentive.
