Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Der Vermieter ist überaus großzügig und gastfreundlich. Jeden zweiten Tag wurden wir mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten überrascht. Das Haus ist top ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Darüber hinaus werden Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Bademäntel, Hausschuhe und Toilettenartikel gestellt. Das Haus, der Garten und der Pool sind in einem Top-Zustand un werden vom Vermieter liebevoll gepflegt.

The house is well equipped and very clean. Sheets, towels, bathrobes, slippers and toiletries are provided. The house, the garden and the pool are in top condition and are lovingly maintained by the landlord.

An sich ein schönes Haus, leider zu wenig Gläser. Auch eine Mikrowelle war nicht vor Ort. Der Manager der uns begrüßt hat war leider sehr unfreundlich und nach einer Nachfrage bezüglich des Ladens unseres Elektroautos war er sehr ungehalten.
Excelente Villa. La pasamos muy bien. Solo agregaría más información sobre el tema de donde poiner la basura y desperdicios para no tenerla en la cocina tanto tiempo.
We spent a week at Torre di Vignale and loved it. Everything was as advertised - beautiful garden, imaculate interiors, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor patio with barbeque and of course the gorgeous swimmingpool! The views over the surrounding landscape are fantastic. As most other reviewers has mentioned the drive up to the house may seem intimidating at first try but you get used to it, just dont attempt it with a sports car! The owner and host Paolo is wonderfull, charming and helpfull (although her English skills are close to zero - but that is made up by her great attitude). She even prepared a lovely 4 course dinner for our party of 14 at a very reasonable price. The walk down to the village is about 25min (and 35min back up the hill!) The village has a couple of trattorias/pizzerias, pharmacy, ATM machine and a small allimentari. The drive into Arezzo för shopping takes 20 min (Essalunga supermarket is closest and has a good selection). A day trip to Siena (1 hour) is highly recommended. Also the nearby towns of Citta di Castello and Sansepolcro (about 30 min away) are worth a visit. There are some great wineries to viait in the hills above Arezzo - I can recommend Podere di Pomaio!
We loved everything about Poggio Cuculo. We felt as if we were living an Italian dream during our week here. Nicola was great and able to arrange for cooking as well as connect us with a tour company for our wine tour. We are a family of nine adults and the villa was spacious enough so we could spread out when we wanted but also spend lots of fun time together too. The location in southern Tuscany made it easy to tour from the villa. Arezzo is minutes away so shopping, train, etc were very convenient.
