We fell in love with the property from the moment we walked in, and the surrounding area as we explored it. There were all the homely touches you'd hope for, plenty of pillows, throws, candles... all these things added to the home comforts of staying here. I would say though, if you have a phobia to bugs & spiders, you should consider staying in a city rather than a Tuscan farmhouse. We found a side-effect of having all the windows and doors open on arrival gave us some little friends to 'deal' with but thankfully there were no heart attacks. I thought this would be worth mentioning as somebody with a serious phobia who isn't used to the countryside could have the wrong expectations. Chiara communicated so well with us. Check-in was a breeze and she directed us when we were lost finding the place. She gave us helpful tips and recommendations about local towns and a restaurant in walking distance. Chiara also checked that everything was fine. I'll never forget the peace and quiet reading my book in the private garden as the sun went down... The location is absolutely fantastic. We managed lots of trips including Volterra, San Gimignano, Pienza, Sienna to name a few - all were reasonable drives. We cooked for ourselves nearly every night. There was a big supermarket in the nearest town about 10 minutes from the property and the kitchen amenities were sufficient for us to make delicious meals with fresh produce.

la struttura è bene organizzata per rispettare la privacy di tutti; le camere e gli appartamenti hanno ingressi singoli e zone all'aperto da condividere ma senza intrusioni; piscina un po' piccola ma sufficiente soprattutto per i bambini; proprietario amabile, disponibile e generoso di suggerimenti; giardino agreste con molto spazio e tocchi personali

We had a very pleasant stay in Ricavoli , the house was above our expectations, Rebeca and Luciano were wonderful hosts, the views from the house were great, we also liked being so close to Florence.

Wir sind schon das zweite Mal in diesem Haus und sind wieder äußerst zufrieden. Es war wieder ein wunderschöner Urlaub, diesmal konnten wir, aufgrund des wärmeren Wetters, auch das Schwimmbad(super gepflegt, wie auch der Rest der Anlage) voll ausnutzen.
Das Haus mit all seinen Zimmern, Badezimmern, Wohn-,Esszimmer, Wintergarten und der große Küche war wieder sauber und gemütlich, wir haben sehr oft gekocht, aber natürlich auch die guten Lokale in der Umgebung besucht.

Maison très agréable à vivre, bien organisée intérieurement. Les espaces extérieurs sont également excellents. La douche chaude extérieure est appréciable et la piscine très belle et confortable.
