Fantastic house and amazing owners that help us when our transportation was cancelled!
We spend 7 days and will for sure be back in this beautiful area.

We loved this well-appointed villa with 3 well-appointed bedrooms, a nicely outfitted kitchen, lovely views and pool with outdoor shower. It is secluded and off the beaten track on the edge of a quaint little town with a great restaurant and a cafe. Florence and Sienna are within an hours drive.

If you’re looking for a ‘get away from it all’ venue in the most glorious countryside then Casetta is for you. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and helpful during our stay and we collected some amazing memories during our stay.

We spent a very relaxing week at Casa Patrizia. The accommodation was immaculately clean and our host, Barbara, was on hand the morning after we arrived to settle us in (we arrived very late at night). Communication thereafter was extremely efficient via WhatsApp and she was quick to offer restaurant recommendations etc. Having a friendly host really was very helpful and added to our fantastic week.

The shared pool was lovely and had a wonderful view, only a very short 1 min walk from the house and the rest of the buildings were picture postcard. Exactly what we were looking for - quintessential Tuscany.

The house was extremely well equipped, everything you could need. We particularly enjoyed the patio at the front in the evenings to watch the sunset, and used the larger patio at the back during the day, both have lovely garden furniture. The large sun umbrella at the back was a god send.

To note, we were aware there was no AC and there as fans provided in both bedrooms. However, it was still extremely hot at night in the bedrooms (we kept the shutters and windows closed during the day, but opened them at night).
The last stretch of track up to the property is very steep and rutted. We were in a very small hire car and had to take 'a run up the hill'.

We will definitely be back, we all loved it! Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Hartelijk ontvangst, prachtige tuin, prachtig verblijf. Mooi gelegen zwembad. Adviezen over de omgeving of goed restaurant waren TOP. Ik vind grote honden eng, er lopen 3 grote honden maar bij uit de auto stappen merkte je direct dat deze honden heel vriendelijk zijn. Honden absoluut niet als vervelend ervaren dus.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Campanina. The caretaker was extremely helpful, contacting as daily to ensure that all was well, and even booked tables for us, which was such a bonus, a service we have not had before. The cleaner was very thorough and efficient and would do more cleaning if we requested it.

It was a beautiful setting, stunning views and so thankful to have the pool. Cleanliness of the property was exceptional and it had everything we needed for our stay. The only downside to this holiday was the pictures of either the owner or a family member hunting. There are pictures of animals that been hunted - shot dead and people posing with them. We all found this quite distressing as we are totally against any form of hunting. My daughter, especially found this distressing and we had to turn some pictures over so we didn’t have to look at them. I think there should’ve been a note in the property details or the pictures removed as they are clearly very personal to the owner of the property.

sehr netter Hausherr, der uns freundlich empfangen hat und uns alles zeigte;
Das Haus ist vor einiger Zeit, sehr schön und modern renoviert worden und auch stylecht, unter Einbehaltung der Regionstypischen Merkmale.
Die Lage ist sehr schön, auf einer Anhöhe gelegen, mit tollem Blick auf Lucca; das Gelände großzügig und gepflegt, mit Weinreben und Obstbäumen; der Pool, ist einfach, aber war zumindest für uns, vollkommen ausreichend zur Abkühlung; schöner, schattiger Lounge-Bereich mit Grillplatz und Strohüberdachung.
Wegbeschreibung ist allerdings etwas "geschönt":
Der Weg zum Haus, führt auf den letzten Metern durch eine schmale "Gasse", mit Steinwänden links und rechts; hier sollte man kein allzu breites Fahrzeug haben; bei unserem Jeep waren an den Außenspiegeln, jeweils keine 10cm mehr Platz...; aber mit einiger Übung, war auch das kein wirkliches Problem mehr, man sollte es aber wissen; denn mal "kurz Brötchen holen", ist aufgrund der Wegstrecke, "so einfach", nicht möglich.
Schade, dass es bei der Buchung zu einem Missverständniss kam, da das Haus in "2 unterschiedlichen Varianten" vermietet wird und dies leider nicht deutlich, auf der Buchungsseite hervorgeht. Das Haus in Variante 1, mit 3 Schlafzimmern zum Preis "X" und das Haus in Variante 2, mit 4 Schlafzimmern zum Preis "Y", der etwas teurer ist. Dies ist aber derzeit abhängig, von der gewählten Anzahl der Personen und hier liegt das "Problem". Dieses "Thema" sollte nicht Personenabhängig, sondern eben Preisabhängig sein; Wir waren 4 Personen und suchten ein Haus mit 4 Schlafzimmern; 4 Schlafzimmer stehen hier aber erst, ab einer Personenanzahl, von mehr als 7 zur Verfügung...; diese "Buchungsbestimmung", sollte überarbeitet werden; 4 Schlafzimmer hätten zwar auch von uns gemietet werden können aber zu einem deutlich höheren Preis, als ursprünglich angezeigt.
bei den dann gemieteten 3 Schlafzimmern hatten wir 2 Bäder zur Verfügung; das eine mit Dusche, das andere mit Badewanne und Handbrause; das war also, mit 4 unabhängigen Personen, etwas unkomfortabel.
die 3 Toiletten und 2 Bäder, waren sauber und funktional. Fast alle Fenster der Räume, mit Fliegengittern versehen, was sehr (!) sinnvoll war;
in der Küche waren wenig Steckdosen, nur 4 Weingläser, die Pfannen "in die Jahre gekommen", der Geschirrkorb der Spülmaschine etwas wackelig, usw.; Kleinigkeiten vielleicht, naja..., aber auch das, sollte überarbeitet werden.
Im Gesamteindruck hatten wir aber einen schönen Aufenthalt und können das Haus durchaus weiter empfehlen !

Grazie tante per la recensione. Ne prendiamo atto e cerchiamo di migliorarci ogni anno.
I piatti e i bicchieri sono doppi nel senso che sono presenti 2 serviti da 8, uno posizionato nella piattaia e l’altro nella vetrina a vista in cucina.
Le prese in cucina sono sufficienti ed è presente anche una “ciabatta” multipresa.
Le padelle sono state rinnovate a seguito della recensione.
Il cestello della lavastoviglie non è stabile perché ci sono dei supporti da sostituire.
