Wonderful apartments in a wonderful location in southern Tuscany 20-30 minutes away from my favorite Etruscan hilltop towns in the heart of wine country. It was a very clean place with great apartments with kind gracious hosts and an awesome pool my children loved! Small kitchens as shown in pictures but we managed and only had trouble when we needed a spatula for cooking only to find none. Still this was the favorite place my family stayed at on our 24-day European holiday!
Leuke plaats, zeer afgelegen, veel privacy, zeer goed onthaald. Geen grote luxe in het huisje maar niet nodig als de zon schijnt zit je toch buiten, buiten is alles perfect verzorgd. Wij gaan zeker terug. Perfect voor een koppel, perfect voor de hond want de tuin is volledig omheind. Zeker een aanrader!
Mooie omgeving met weids uitzicht. Wij hebben de tuintafel gedraaid, zodat we naar het uitzicht konden kijken. Het huisje is van alles voorzien en schoon. Restaurant op 25 meter is prima (wel prijzig) met ook weer een mooi uitzicht. Vriendelijke mensen. Heerlijk zwembad zonder chloor. Kortom een aanrader!
The house was large and comfortable, the location was amazing. The pool was also great. The beds were dated and uncomfortable, and the house was not really very clean. The owners were approachable and addressed our requests kindly.
We had an enjoyable two week stay at Villa Dante - the property is well maintained and accurately described. We enjoyed the pool, the wonderful views and quiet surroundings. Davide, who welcomed us, was very friendly and helpful. Though I had previously read the review about the precipitous roads leading to the property I’d thought that the reviewer was probably exaggerating…. but no, there were many hairpin bends and narrow roads - and the driveway was even more daunting! Quite a challenge for us in our mid-sized rental - a smaller car would have made it easier to negotiate but we needed luggage space for 4 adults so needed something a bit bigger. This is an ideal setting for peaceful contemplation, high in the Tuscany hills, rather than a base for frequent excursions involving those bends!

Fantastic week at Villa Del Poggio. The property is beautiful and comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Great location for exploring Tuscany. Radda in Chianti is a great village, with plenty of restaurants and shops. Vanessa was great host. Very helpful. Hope to come back for a longer stay.
